Mary Jolley is an established Welsh painter.
Born to an English father and Welsh mother, she spent her youth in a small village on the outskirts of Pontypool before moving to Cardiff as a student in the 1960's.
She spent periods of her life living in France and Finland finally returning to settle in South Wales.
She now lives in Penarth on the South Wales coast and in Montcuq in the South of France. She has studios in the centre of Cardiff and Montcuq.
